The PiS program convention begins. The topic of cryptocurrencies will appear there

On October 24-25, 2025, the Law and Justice program convention “Thinking Poland” will be held at the International Congress Center in Katowice. Jarosław Kaczyński, experts and the most important PiS politicians will appear on site. According to the public program, one of the topics will be cryptocurrencies.

PiS will talk about cryptocurrencies

The Law and Justice program convention “Thinking Poland” will be held on October 24-25 in Katowice. Everything will take place at the International Congress Center (Plac Sławika and Antalla 1).

It all starts on October 24 at 10:00. The event is open to all interested. The entire program can be found in many places on the Internet. One point in particular is crucial for us: debate Can Poland become a leader in the crypto and fintech industry? with the participation of Janusz Kowalski, Mateusz Kowalski, Michał Moskal, Filip Ostrowski (moderator), prof. Krzysztof Piech and Konrad Zacharzewski.

Tomorrow… We need to talk about it. Thanks to cheap labor, we will not be able to develop the country for long. Financial innovation may be one solution. Cheaper access to capital, higher investments, deregulation… New financial system – based on blockchain infrastructure

– encourages prof. to take part in the debate. Piech.

Will we finally get to know the PiS bill?

During one of the last press conferences, Janusz Kowalski promised that he would present details of the PiS bill regulating the cryptocurrency industry during the program convention in Katowice. The presented event plan does not indicate that we will see this happen.

The government bill regulating the digital assets market remains in parliament. If Kowalski is to be believed, when it reaches President Karol Nawrocki’s desk, it will be vetoed and PiS will propose its version of the regulation.

The topic of cryptocurrencies has become political in Poland: PiS and Konfederacja are fighting for the electorate of bitcoin fans. The ruling coalition is behaving as if it assumed that Bitcoin supporters would not vote for it anyway – the bill it proposes is very strict and in practice – if it comes into force – it will result in an exodus of crypto companies from Poland.
