Fernando’s family reported him missing to the police, who began searching for him. More than a week of searching the streets of Buenos Aires yielded no results. The breakthrough in the case came suddenly and shocked the entire community in the Argentine capital.
Murder of a cryptocurrency millionaire – children find his body in a suitcase
A suitcase containing the dismembered body of a cryptocurrency millionaire was found in the Ingeniero Budge district, in the southern part of the city. It was discovered by children playing near a small stream that is a branch of the Matanza River that flows through Buenos Aires.
The parents of the shocked children immediately reported the discovery to the police. The officers examined the contents of the suitcase – tattoos and fingerprints confirmed the victim’s identity. It is worth adding that the remaining parts of the body were found in the stream, as well as the head hidden in a backpack.
According to the autopsy, the man was shot three times before his body was dismembered. The motive for the crime could have been the man’s debts. The police have already arrested the first suspects. In the coming weeks, new evidence will certainly emerge in the case and the influencer’s killers will receive an appropriately heavy punishment.
