Bitget, the leading cryptocurrency exchange and the Web3 company, announced the edition of the Web3 encyclopedia for children, which is a milestone in its global educational initiative #Blockchain4youth. The printed version will be distributed in schools, libraries and cultural centers to promote knowledge about blockchain technology among children, while the digital version will be available via Coingcko, a leading independent data aggregator for cryptocurrencies.
The encyclopedia has the structure of a guide from A to Z and introduces young readers into the world of blockchain technology using easy to understand terms, such as “A like Altcoin” and “with like zero-knowledge proofs”. Each letter contains clear definitions and funny illustrations that explain complicated issues in an accessible way, dividing them into short and easy to understand parts. This is an interesting and accessible way to arouse interest in digital finances and help children from an early age to understand the foundations of Web3.

Cooperation with Cryptita Plays
The encyclopedia was created in cooperation with Cryptita Plays, a non-profit organization dealing with the education and promotion of blockchain technology among young people. Using the experience gained during direct work with students and teachers in communities with limited access to education, Cryptita Plays provided valuable first -hand information that helped in developing the content and approach of the encyclopedia. This partnership supports the common goal of both organizations – that education about blockchain technology becomes more affordable, inclusive and realistically influenced young people around the world.
Our goal has always been to familiarize the young generation of the idea of blockchain – not as a distant concept, but as something that you can see, touch and understand – he comments Arshelene Lingao, founder of Cryptita Plays. This encyclopedia is a tool that helps to realize these ideas, also outside the school walls.
Distribution and availability
The distribution of the printed version will start in regions with limited or unstable access to the Internet, enabling offline education in less developed areas. This edition complements the version of the online encyclopedia, which remains available to students around the world, encouraging learning and multilingual adaptation. To increase the range, the digital version will also be made available on the Coingecko website, thanks to which the encyclopedia will be easier to be available to young students, teachers and people just starting their adventure with blockchain technology around the world.
