As we reported to WSJ, there are no indications that Tether is being investigated (by the US services). WSJ repeats old rumors. End of story
At Tether, we regularly and directly engage with law enforcement officials to help prevent the abuse of USDT by rogue states, terrorists and criminals. We would know if we were put under the microscope of the services, as (WSJ) falsely claims. Based on this, we can confirm that the allegations in the article are clearly false.
In response to months of sustained attacks by the Iranian regime against the State of Israel, the IDF is currently conducting precision strikes against military targets in Iran
This is a response to Iran’s attack on October 1. But – just like back then – this is not a reason to panic. There have been exchanges of blows between the two countries for months, but everything takes place within the framework of a certain… convention. Both countries simply have to show that they control the situation in the region. It is a bit like a situation in the yard, where the two biggest boys have to show each other and others from time to time that they are the strongest in the “yard”. As long as it doesn’t escalate too much, it shouldn’t threaten world peace. This is somehow guaranteed by the geographical location of Iran, which is surrounded by mountains and attacking it would be very difficult.
