BTC Inc. CEO David Bailey spoke with Donald Trump’s associates after the July 13 attack.
Donald Trump is feeling good
Former US President Donald Trump nearly ended his tumultuous life on July 13. The gunman shot him only in the ear. He shot and killed one Republican Party supporter and seriously wounded two others.
It turns out Trump is feeling fine. He reportedly still plans to appear at the Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville, Tennessee. At least that’s what David Bailey, one of the event’s organizers and CEO of BTC Inc., says.
On July 14, Bailey posted on X that he had “just spoken to the president’s team.” He learned that Trump was “in good spirits” and “excited to be able to” attend the Nashville event. He also plans to “give a speech that will be heard around the world.”
The former president had pledged to speak at the Bitcoin 2024 conference before the assassination attempt on his life. That’s why there were concerns that he would change his mind over the latter. However, it turns out that cryptocurrency fans will be able to see him live. The event will run from July 25 to 27, and Trump’s speech is scheduled for July 27.
Trump wants to change US policy
Donald Trump wants to change the White House’s approach to cryptocurrencies. He promised to support the mining market. He boldly announced that he would like the remaining bitcoins to be mined to be issued in the US. In addition, he wants to free Ross Ulbricht, the founder of Silk Road, a dark web platform where illegal drugs could be traded.
In addition to all of the above, regulations should be added that support the market, not harm it.
Of course, we don’t know how Trump will go about implementing these ideas. Even his critics point out that he did a lot during his first term to implement his program. Remember, however, that behind the US president stands the deep state, which can block certain visions of the White House.
