Web3 is not a temporary fashion. It’s not just technology. This is a new way of thinking about the Internet, property and relationships between people, companies and data. Just as we once went from Web1 (read) to Web2 (create and share), so today we are standing on the threshold of another revolution – the Internet that you can co -create and co -owners.
Web1, web2, web3 …
The official date of the Internet was adopted on January 1, 1983. But the network from those times was very different from the one we know today.
Each subsequent generation was a revolution. And each changed the way we use the Internet.
There were three such breakthroughs:
- Web1 – “Read only” network. Mainly static pages where you can read content, but you can’t change it or publish anything yourself.
- Web2 – social media, blogs, platforms. You can create and publish content, but companies have full control over them.
- Web3 – technology that gives you property, influence and autonomy.
In practice, WEB3 gives you the greatest freedom.
You have your portfolio, your data, your digital assets. You can take part in projects, invest, vote, co -decide. And you don’t have to trust anyone – everything works thanks to the code and blockchain.
Why Web3 is the foundation of the future
In Web2 you are the product – you give data, time and attention in exchange for “free” services. In Web3 you have something more: control, shares and real influence. You become a co -owner, not just a user.
Blockchain, smart contracts and decentralized applications (DAPPS) create an infrastructure that does not need central control. Everything is transparent, resistant to manipulation and globally available.
In Poland, more and more projects are already using these possibilities today.
Examples?
This is a cryptocurrency exchange that connects the world online with the physical currency currency infrastructure in many cities. It allows you to buy and sell cryptocurrencies directly for cash, and also offers staking – a way to passive income from digital assets. Kanga also develops Kanga Pay, which transfers Web3 to daily transactions.
The project enables the tokenization of works of art – both digital and physical. This is the first NFT market in Poland, which also operates as an educational platform and creators’ community.
Polish new generation Polish blockchain, created for privacy, security and scalability. He builds, among others Private layers for DEFs and corporate solutions, and also supports startups as part of its own ecosystem fund.
One of the first web3 projects from Poland. Golem creates a global, decentralized computing power network. Users can borrow the unused power of their computers for the needs of, e.g. AI projects, graphics rendering or scientific simulations.
What will change in the decade?
Web3 is not a revolution that you only hear about at conferences. She enters everyday life – in a few years she can change everything: from how you log in to internet portals, after you earn.
Instead of dozens of passwords, one web3 wallet is enough – your digital identity. It will act like a passport, key and evidence in one.
The labor market will transform. More and more people will receive payments in Stablecoin, work remotely and act in Dao structures – manage projects jointly, without a boss.
Web3 also changes how you manage your money. You can avoid banks, avoid fees and decide yourself if you want to save, invest in a project or build something your own
The content of the content will gain full control over what they publish and to them. The algorithms will stop dictating the conditions. NFT, social tokens and Web3 platforms will open a new chapter for artists, influencers and independent publishers.
And education? Global and free. Diplomas in the form of NFT, Mentoring without borders, certificates without intermediaries. Knowledge will belong to you – not the platform.
We talked about this future during the nationwide More than Bitcoin Experience – Kanga On Tour
– says Monika Czarniecka from Kanga.
We met with thousands of people for whom WEB3 is not buzzword, but a real change. Now we are coming back with a summary and a look forward: what next with Web3 and how will this technology affect our daily lives?
– he adds.
Web3 is not the future. This is the present
For some it is still an experiment. For others – a tool of everyday life. The question does not sound Whether Web3 will come. The question is: when will you join him?
The future is not yet written. But today we know who is building its foundations.
