Karol Nawrocki has been the president of Poland since yesterday. In this text I will look at who exactly he is and what property he has.
Karol Nawrocki, or who?
Nawrocki was born in 1983 in Gdańsk. He is a professional historian. In the years 2009 – 2017 he worked at the Institute of National Remembrance. Then, until 2017 to 2021, he was the director of the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk. In June 2021 he became the Vice President of the Institute of National Remembrance, and in May 2021 the president.
His earnings were not only generated by work in public institutions, but also the book he wrote in 2018 as “Tadeusz Batyr” published the biography of Gangster Nikodem “Nikosia” Skotarczak entitled Nikos’s confession from behind the grave.
The breakthrough in his life took place in 2024, when he began to be considered as a candidate of Law and Justice in the presidential election in 2025. His candidacy was officially presented on November 24 (he was formally a “civic candidate” only supported by PiS).
During the election campaign, he announced, among others your economic ideas, incl. guarantee of not lifting taxes, a reduction in VAT, increasing the second tax threshold, zero PIT for families with at least two children and inheritance without tax. In addition, the liquidation of the so -called Belka tax. I have already written more about this on bitcoin.pl.
29.54% of voters (5,790,804 votes) supported the presidential election of Nawrocki, taking second place and going to the second round with Rafał Trzaskowski. In Wyborcza “extra time, on June 1, he was elected the office of the President of the Republic of Poland, obtaining 50.89% support (10 606 877 valid votes). The inauguration of his presidency took place on August 6.
President’s property
As you can see, Nawrocki worked in public institutions for most of his adult life (in the museum and the Institute of National Remembrance). Did he earn a lot of money thanks to this?
The issue of the studio, which the then head of the Institute of National Remembrance, had special controversy during the election campaign. The presidential candidate was accused of “extorting” the apartment from the unconscious senior who had problems with alcohol. In return, he was supposed to look after him, he allegedly did not.
Let’s look at Karol Nawrocki’s property declaration. It was made public, among others by Emilia Wierzbicki, who was a spokeswoman for the politician’s electoral staff.
From the document we learn that Nawrocki is a co -owner (together with his wife) of a flat with an area of 57 sq m. It is about the premises where he lives with his family. In addition, the famous studio, with about 30 sq m, and another apartment, with an area of 57 sq m
The couple also have a mortgage, to be repaid – according to the document – about PLN 204,000 left (probably less today).
Nawrocki also declared that he has PLN 110,000. There are no securities or cryptocurrencies.
