Well-known financial advisor, Suze Orman, encourages investing in BTC

Suze Orman, a well-known financial advisor, says everyone should have some exposure to bitcoin. At the same time, however, he recommends some caution.

Suze Orman encourages investing in bitcoin

Orman explained that she believes everyone should have some exposure to bitcoin today. During an interview with CNBC, she said it could turn out to be a good investment move.

The advisor believes that the value of bitcoin will grow, driven by the fascination with it among younger generations. However, she does not see cryptocurrency as a currency or a store of value. However, he understands that investors from the millennials and generation Z who think differently and today constitute as much as 70% of BTC owners

This is an investment where you either lose everything or let it grow until it (Bitcoin) is worth $100,000 or $200,000

– she added, somewhat indicating what bitcoin price she is counting on in this bull market.

Invest, but wisely!

Orman warned to allocate capital in cryptocurrencies wisely. She advised against investing more than 5% of her portfolio in BTC. She also prefers Bitcoin-based ETFs to direct ownership of BTC. She cited safety concerns.

I would never want to see FTX (collapse) again

– she emphasized, recalling the collapse of the famous US stock exchange.

However, keeping BTC outside the exchange, in your own wallet, is today the safest form of securing cryptocurrency. On the other hand, for older people and less technically advanced, ETFs are actually a much better way to invest capital than directly investing in bitcoin and keeping it, e.g. on the stock exchange.

Is the older generation warming up to BTC?

Orman’s vote, however, is very important because it shows that representatives of the older generation are slowly warming up to bitcoin. Of course, it is doubtful that you will ever hear a similar voice from Warren Buffet, but the creation of BTC ETFs has probably opened the eyes of some older investors. It is possible that they are currently “sniffing” the topic of cryptocurrencies and preparing to invest in them (or even quietly entering the trading floor).
