The faithful in Baranowice for years collected together for the renovation of the local church. The local priest Francis supported them: he appealed for generosity, a few years ago he sent his calculations to the residents, which showed that PLN 1.5 million was needed for the thermomodernization of the temple. There are 500 families in his parish, so as each one will give him 3,000 zlotys in five years, the church will be renovated.
Almost a million zlotys were collected from donations. Only that the priest was demanding only to others, not to himself. On Sunday, September 7, during the harvest festival, he admitted that he spent the collected money, but not on thermomodernization.

He said during the ceremony, referring to media reports, which showed that he incorrectly issued donations on the renovation of the church. It was enough to look at the building to know that something went wrong.

It turns out that the case is investigated by the police. The point is that the priest spent money on bitcoins. More precisely: he wanted to do it, but there are many indications that he fell victim to fraudsters.
In April this year. The priest reported to the police that he fell victim to fraud. The first application concerned the amount of approx. 600 thousand. zloty. Then there was another application. In total, it is about the amount of approx. PLN 1 million. There is currently an investigation in this matter

So there are many indications that the priest has been deceived by people who have been robbing Poles from various parts of Poland for a long time: they promise fast, reliable and easy profit and help in investing in bitcoins, and when the victim pays their funds, they disappear.
