The whole world with the growing horror looks at what is taking place in the Middle East. The US attack between Israel and Iran came to the objects in which Iranian nuclear weapons were worked between Israel and Iran. Tehran is now threatening to the world with an ORMUZ strait.
Iran vs. Israel
For over a week, Israel’s conflict with Iran has entered a new level. Both countries are shelling each other and threaten with further escalation. This time, Tel Aviv began, who claims that Tehran is close to the creation of nuclear weapons and therefore should be attacked by blocking further work. In the new installment of this war, several key military and scientists have already died who took part in research on uranium.
And here we come to the first controversy. Iran has long claimed that he is working only for peaceful purposes – he does not want to have atomic weapons. Such a message dominates in national media and statements of politicians. However, looking at the location of the country, having a “atomic” seems very rational. The Ayatollah regime has been afraid for years that he will divide the fate of the Iraq or Libya authorities – he will be overthrown as a result of another colorful revolution. And it has grounds for this, because the latest history of Iraq includes The couples that either served the West or forces that want Tehran’s independence.
In addition, Israel, “the largest US aircraft car” appears in the world, which is located in a place where a rocket or air attack on Iran becomes simpler. And this – mass raids – this is the only way to conquer former Persia. Tehran is defended by mountain massifs and highlands – running a land war in this region is even madness. The potential of this type of US attack on Iran would probably end with a “second Afghanistan”, would block Americans for many years, and would probably end in a failure. Simply putting the area in Iran is even a dream of partisans.
Added to this is another element. Iran has a “hostage” – the Strait of the Ormus, which it can easily block. And this is what the whole world is threatening now. The decision to block has already been approved by the parliament of the country, but the final decision must be made by the Security Council, which for now refrains from such a radical step. At least at the time of writing this text, the sea movement continues.
ORMUZ – one of the most important places in the world
Ormuz is a strait of the Arabic Sea, located between the Persian Gulf from the west and the Oman bay from the east. Its northern coast belongs to Iran, southern to the United Arab Emirates and Masandam Muhafazatu, the excla has of Oman. It is simple to block, because in the narrowest place it is 54 km wide. Its maximum maximum depth reaches 220 m, but the minimum only 10 m. In addition, there are numerous islands in the strait, the largest of which are Gheszm and Ormuz, belonging to Iran.
Currently, ORMUZ is the only sea trail that allows the transport of crude oil from the Persian Gulf. On average, 15 tankers flow through the strait a day, which transport 16.5-17 million barrels of oil, i.e. as much as 20% of all oil transport in the world. There are still beds of natural gas under the bottom.
The above description already shows how this region is important for the entire world economy. The Ormuz blockade would mean blocking the 20% of oil supply, which goes to the markets, which would lead to the jump of raw material prices, and therefore also prices … almost everything. After all, all transport is based on oil!
In my earlier texts about the conflict in the Middle East, I suggested that the blockade of Ormuz is not an option, because too many forces in the world care about its patency. This is not just about the US or the European Union. China also remain strongly dependent on the supply of the Persian Gulf. Actually, the only country that would be happy with the blockade would be Russia, which would earn more at the pile of oil prices and more strongly dependent on each other. China buy oil from the Middle East and from Russia.
The Ormuz blockade would end with a disaster for Iran – the country would conflict with the two biggest powers – the USA and China. Tehran will decide on such a radical step only when his authorities feel pressed against the wall. And that’s why Washington’s last attack seems irrational today and very dangerous for the world. For this reason, I found him not very real.
Why did the US decide to attack?
This is generated by the question why the US decided to attack Iran. One of the explanations is the Israeli lobby, which operates in the USA in a very dynamic way. Although the topic “Israel rules the world” can be put between fairy tales, the influence of this country in Washington is real.
I have to point to the American-Israeli Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), which has been supporting American politicians for years. Of course, those who look at Israel favorably. The Adelson family environment is also crucial here. The late Sheldon Adelson, a businessman from the casino market, supported the first election campaign of Donald Trump, and then he had a huge impact on him as president. There are many indications that his prompts meant that the Republican moved a few years ago the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, which caused the rage of the Arab population. The construction of the new embassy facility was also financed by the Adelson family.
After the death of Sheldon, his wife, Miriam Adelson, manages his family property. In 2024, it supported the Trump Electoral Campaign $ 100 million. In turn, from 2010 – as he said The New York Times – The family paid up to $ 100 billion to the Republican Party.
Did the pro -Israel lobby persuade Trump to take such a risky game? Possible, but it is worth paying attention to one more element.
Fight for gas pipelines
It can also be for gas pipelines, because in the region there has been a fight for the implementation of particularly important two projects from this market for years. One would run on the Iran-Pakistan line. The US blocked its construction, exerting pressure on the latter country.
Tehran built his part of the “thread”, 1150 kilometers long, which cost it $ 2 billion. The Pakistani part remains unfinished.
The above is important for the design of the Iran-Pakistan-Indie-Indie-Crazy pipeline, whose construction was also prevented by the Americans. At least so far.
In general, the USAs have interests in the region that consist in hindering Beijing, their main rival on the globe, and gas supply. For now, they do it by blocking the described projects, but they also have an ace in their sleeve: Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-Indie gas pipeline. Its first fragment is already being built, and when it is built, Turkmenistan will gain a new important customer – India – in place of China.
The US can, therefore, play the political weakening of Iran, can even eliminate its elite in order to prevent alternatives to the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-Indie gas pipeline. India will simply join this project and stop needing Iran. China will probably have to pay more for gas from Turkmenistan. And even worse: the US will be able to make this “spring” completely dry them.

As you can see, the fight in the Middle East is about weakening Iran, which is associated with the weakness of China, the main geopolitical rival of the USA. The only question is whether the US did not overdo it this time and did not play at too high.
