Mentzen announced some time ago that he wanted to run for the presidency, and in this race he would represent the Confederation. So far, the polls agree: he may get a good third result, but he has no chance of entering the second round and defeating either the PiS or KO candidate. Despite this, he does not give up and looks for voters wherever he can. Now he has decided to return to the topic of cryptocurrencies.

Does Mentzen’s postulate make sense? In terms of content – yes. However, the president in Poland has too little power to implement this idea. It is true that the president of the NBP is appointed by the Sejm at the request of the head of state, but it is doubtful that the candidacy of someone close to the “Konfa” politician will gain a majority in the current lower house. Of course, assuming that Mentzen wins at all, which – as I have already mentioned – is unlikely.
Cryptocurrencies are opposed in Poland because the state is unable to control them. As a result, companies trying to operate in this modern industry had to close down or leave Poland. Therefore, as president, I will strive to free trade in cryptocurrencies, and I will also ensure that Poland has the most cryptocurrency-friendly law in the entire European Unionthanks to which we will become a European hub for companies in this industry. This will attract many modern companies to Poland and create well-paid jobs.
