Michael Saylor, co-founder of Strategy – the company with the largest Bitcoin resources in the world – predicts that BTC will reach USD 150,000 before the end of 2025. A bold prediction? Maybe. But Saylor has his arguments.
The best year in the history of the industry
During the Money 20/20 conference in Las Vegas, Saylor stated that the last 12 months have probably been the best period in the history of the cryptocurrency industry. What is behind this optimism? First of all, a groundbreaking change in the attitude of regulators. It’s hard to disagree with this.
Saylor pointed to the SEC, which has begun accepting tokenized securities, and U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, who supports stablecoins as a tool to protect dollar dominance. These are not just minor signals, but a fundamental change in the regulatory course in the United States.
Our expectation is that Bitcoin should reach approximately USD 150,000 by the end of the year – this is the consensus of equity analysts following our company and the Bitcoin industry
– Saylor added.
Turbulence does not change the long-term trend
The forecast comes as the cryptocurrency market continues to recover from the October collapse. The collapse was triggered by Donald Trump’s announcement of additional 100% tariffs on goods from China, which sparked concerns about macroeconomic stability.
However, analysts from The Kobeissi Letter reassure that the October crash was the result of short-term technical factors, and the long-term upward trend remains intact. Moreover, they are convinced that the US and China will reach a trade agreement, as today’s Trump-Jinping meeting can clearly prove.
Hope for a breakthrough in US-China relations
Trade tensions have begun to ease in recent weeks. Trump met with President Xi Jinping at the APEC summit in Seoul, and Bessent announced on Sunday that the sides had reached a “substantial” framework for a trade agreement.
Investor Anthony Pompliano does not hide his excitement:
Asset prices will go crazy this week if a US-China deal is announced and the Fed cuts interest rates. Buckle up
Will Bitcoin actually touch $150,000 before the end of 2025? Saylor is quite convinced of this, and there are still two months left to confirm his words.
