Robert Kiyosaki recommends investing in bitcoin and gold. He pointed to a specific reason – Bitcoin.pl

Robert Kiyosaki claims that economic changes that began over five decades ago now make it worth investing in bitcoin and gold. He warns against growing debt and inflation.

Kiyosaki points to a turning point in history

In his post on X, Kiyosaki pointed to 1974 as a turning point that changed both the monetary and pension systems. He argued that the United States’ transition to the petrodollar system, along with changes in pension policy, laid the foundations for today’s financial problems:

The year 1974 brought two huge changes in the future of our world. Our problem is that… in 2026, our future is already here and now. The two events that changed the future in 1974 were: In 1974, the US dollar became the petro dollar. Instead of gold, the US dollar was (from then on) backed by crude oil. Today, in 2026, the world stands on the brink of a war over oil. Inflation is reaching its zenith.

In 1974, the ERISA (Employee Retirement Income Security Act) was also passed: until 1974, most workers were guaranteed lifetime retirement benefits, after the act’s implementation, millions of workers switched to 401k, RRSP and IRA retirement plans, which, according to Kiyosaki, “guaranteed nothing.”

Millions of baby boomers will soon discover that they have no income when they stop working. The situation is made worse by the fact that Social Security and Medicare are in ruins. Millions of baby boomers will be left homeless or living in campers as rising oil prices push up food and fuel prices

– he added.

I still recommend saving real money…gold, silver and bitcoin…and investing in personal financial education

– he advised.

Are we facing a meltdown?

Last month, Kiyosaki warned of an impending major financial bubble burst, arguing that such a crisis could trigger a sharp rise in the prices of scarce assets such as bitcoin. He suggested that BTC could reach a price of $750,000. When? Within a year of the crash.

So far, one bitcoin costs just over USD 69,000, i.e. ATH from the previous cycle.
