PZU begins the revolution: the company’s offer will include a fund replicating the rate of returning Bitcoin. In other words, the leading Polish insurer will now provide you with an exposure to BTC.
PZU opens to a bitcoin revolution
The company has just announced that it will start offering a bitcoin fund, BTC inpzu.
The development of crypto funds in the world in combination with the growing interest in digital currencies among Poles influenced the decision of TFI PZU to create the Inpzu Bitcoin fund – it was said in the company’s press release – this is the first investment fund in Poland addressed to a wide range of investors giving a “pure” exposure to Bitcoin

What do we know about the product? For now, the fact that it will be consistent with the EU regulation of UCITS. The minimum investment is to be PLN 100. For this you will not need to have a brokerage account. The management fee will be 0.5% per annum.
What else? Inpzu Bitcoin is an index fund that will follow Bloomberg Bitcoin Index and give you an exhibition to the BTC market without having “physical” bitcoins. 80% of the fund’s portfolio will be invested in ETC and ECtHorts based on Bitcoin. So you will be dealing with an index aimed at tracking the BTC price.
The new product will appear on the market on August 28, 2025.
PZU shows Bitcoin’s strength
In her announcement, PZU described how long Bitcoin went through: from the stock market, which aroused the reluctance of conservative investors to something that is part of the financial system.
According to PZU, it was a breakthrough in the history of PZU in January 2024 by the Commission of Securities and US stock exchanges (SEC) for the creation of BTC ETFs in the USA. This showed that Bitcoin is already a serious investment value.
The company also noted that the average annual profit from investment in Bitcoin for the last 10 years is about 85%, which is a few times more than it could earn the stock market. It is worth noting that for a decade only 3 years were negative – they did not allow investors to earn.
The new PZU offer is a step in the right direction. It remains to wait for the first ETF BTC to be built in Poland.
