Nvidia, a giant with a valuation exceeding USD 4 trillion, has just invested in Elevenlabs, a company founded by Poles that revolutionizes the AII audio world. And no, this is not an accidental investment, but a strategic traffic that can change the entire industry. Why did Jensen Huang get interested in Elevenlabs and what can result from this partnership?
Polish plays in the first AI league
NVIDIA President Jensen Huang and co -founder Elevenlabs Mati Staniszewski appeared together in a video recording to announce the starting cooperation:
“We are happy to share information that NVIDIA is investing in Elevenlabs, with the support of Jensen Huang”
– Staniszewski announced, and his words were like a declaration that Poland officially entered the highest league of global artificial intelligence. To be honest, Elevenlabs has already been there for many months, because the start-up founded by Poles obtained the status of a unicorn in 2024. The unicorns are called start-ups, which will exceed USD 1 billion of market value.
Returning to the announcement of Staniszewski and Huang, the timing was not accidental. The cooperation was disclosed shortly after the visit of President Donald Trump in Great Britain, which ended with signing a technological pact worth USD 42 billion. Elevenlabs, although founded by Poles in the USA, has its European operational base in the British Isles and uses British government support for innovative companies.

Text-to-Speech is a kind of model in which the text entered is later read by a synthetic voice generated by AI. Elevenlabs has recently announced the V3 of its flagship model, in which it is possible to add emotions to the audio path.
Commenting on the recent achievements of the Polish start-up, Huang also emphasized the emotional aspect of ElevenLabs technology:

This is an extremely accurate observation, because in a world where AI is becoming more and more present in our daily lives, it is emotional authenticity that can be the key to success.
From Google to Unicorn in three years
The story of Elevenlabs sounds like a scenario of a Hollywood movie about start-ups. Piotr Dąbkowski and Mati Staniszewski, former employees of Google and Palantir, founded the company in 2022. In just three years they managed to build a technology that not only attracted Jensen Huang’s attention, but also achieved a valuation of USD 6.6 billion during the September offer for redemption of shares from employees.
This makes Elevenlabs one of the three Polish “unicorns” next to Docplanner and Books. But while these two companies operate in relatively traditional sectors (health and services), why did Staniszewski and Dąbkowski start such success? Because ElevenLabs entered the most hot area of modern technology -a celebrity intelligence.

What exactly does Elevenlabs do? In short – makes computers say like people, but in a natural way that it is difficult to distinguish a synthetic voice from a real one. Of course, as it happens with breakthrough technologies, Elevenlabs did not avoid controversy. The same technology that can create fantastic dubbing for a film can also be used to create deepfakes or false messages. Criminals have already started using the company’s solutions to impersonate known people in commercials or other messages.
This reminds us that every powerful technology is also a powerful responsibility. Elevenlabs, like other AI companies, must balance between innovation and security. It should be noted, however, that the company has presented a tool that is able to verify with 99% effectiveness whether the AI recording is a technology product from ElevenLabs. However, this does not change the fact that cyber criminals are increasingly using synthetic votes AI.
Warsaw as the European Center AI?
Although the headquarters of Elevenlabs is located in New York, the company does not forget about Polish roots. In November, she launched its headquarters in Europe to Europe and the Research and Development Center. This is a signal that the Polish capital can become one of the European hubs of the development of artificial intelligence.
The NVIDIA investment in Elevenlabs is more than just a financial injection for the Polish start-up. This is the strategic partnership of the semiconductor giant with the AI voice technology leader.
