Bitget, positioning itself as the world’s largest Universal Exchange (UEX), has made a strategic decision to strengthen its management team. The company has appointed Ignacio Aguirre Franco as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), entrusting him with a key role in shaping the brand’s global narrative and building user engagement strategies.
Who is the new CMO of Bitget?
Ignacio brings over fifteen years of experience in the technology, fintech and blockchain sectors, and his career combines engineering with marketing. Prior to joining Bitget, he held senior positions at Adobe, SAP, Scorechain and Xapo Bank, where he supported scaling global products, strengthening market position and driving user growth.
Ignacio himself describes himself as a “creator by nature”. This combination of the analytical thinking of an engineer with the creative vision of a marketer allows him to effectively translate complex technological solutions into an understandable language that appeals to users from different parts of the world.
Mission and goals at Bitget
At Bitget, Ignacio’s mission will be to advance the vision of the Universal Exchange (UEX), combining CeFi, DeFi and TradFi into one easily accessible ecosystem for users of all experience levels. He will lead the brand’s global marketing efforts, focusing on driving user engagement, enhancing product storytelling and driving mass adoption of Bitget’s key innovations, including Onchain, GetAgent and Stock Futures.
The new CMO plans to position Bitget not only as a financial platform, but also as a cultural brand aimed at a new generation of users. Its strategy is to simplify communication about complex technical products while maintaining the innovative character of the brand.
