KNF approved Betf ETF Bitcoin! When will it appear on the stock exchange?

Poles do not goose, they have their btc eTF. Maybe not on the stock exchange, but the Polish Financial Supervision Authority approved the Beta ETF Bitcoin prospectus. The exhibitor of the first ETF in Poland based on BTC contracts on BTC, began registration. Cryptocurrencies officially enter the WSE!

Beta ETF Bitcoin – what do we know at the moment?

The fund will be entirely based on Bitcoin’s term contracts – the so -called Bitcoin Futures, listed on CME, one of the largest and most reputable exchanges of derivative instruments in the world. In addition, to reduce the currency risk associated with the fact that the base instrument is denominated in USD, the Issuer will use Forward contracts to protect the exposure to USD.

Beta ETF, operating in the structures of Agiofunds TFI, is responsible for managing the fund. The company already informs that we are in the second phase of the preparation process for registering the fund and its debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

New chapter for the WSE

The Polish BTC ETF fund is a response to the growing interest of investors in digital assets and new classes of financial instruments. Experts emphasize that ETF on Bitcoin (like the planned beta etf dividend plus) can become a driving force for the development of funds listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Although the KNF decision opens new investment possibilities, there were no clear warnings from the regulator. The Commission emphasizes that the investment policy of the new fund is associated with a high level of risk, both due to Bitcoin’s variability and the use of time -term contracts.

The official announcement reads:

Bitcoin has no fundamental value

– reminds the KNF, emphasizing that this instrument is characterized by exceptional instability.

With which, of course, the whole community of lovers of the work of Satoshi Nakamoto will not agree;) According to the emission prospectus, the investment in the fund should have a minimum horizon of 5 years, and the participation of ETF in the total investment portfolio should be limited due to its speculative nature.

When is the debut of beta ETF Bitcoin on the WSE?

The exact date has not been given yet, but according to Beta ETF, the process of registration and preparation for the debut may take a few to several weeks. This means that the first Polish ETF on Bitcoin may appear on the WSE during the holidays or early autumn 2025.

ETF’s interest in cryptocurrencies is not a new phenomenon. There were already talks about the issue of such funds in Poland in September last year, and the WSE Board itself expressed the desire to introduce such instruments to the dance floor. According to the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, more than one Investment Funds Society managed the query in this matter. The appearance of beta ETF Bitcoin can therefore be only the first step in the development of the ETF segment for digital assets in Poland.
