Janusz Korwin-Mikke declared support for cryptocurrencies

Another politician declared clear support for cryptocurrencies. This time it’s Janusz Korwin-Mikke.

Janusz Korwin-Mikke supports bitcoin

A year ago, Janusz Korwin-Mikke dropped out of mainstream politics again – he did not get into the Sejm, and his mandate was given to Karina Bosak, Krzysztof Bosak’s wife. Then the creator of the free market movement in Poland separated himself from the Confederation and today is trying to build a new political force. Probably with poor results.

It turns out, however, that Korwin-Mikke saw potential in the electorate of bitcoin supporters. He has just published a post on X in which he wrote that he is a fan of cryptocurrencies.

Ever since Bitcoin was created, I have defended this form of money – because it is independent of governments. Now I am formally recognized as a Bitcoin Ambassador.

Freedom is a choice; also the currency in which we want to settle accounts with the contractor. And governments have nothing to do with it!

– he wrote in a post on his former Twitter.

He added to the post not only a photo of himself at the bitcoin machine, but also a fragment of an article about taxes, Taxes. So it’s about robberyin which he wrote that inflation is “a tax imposed on the money a citizen has.”

Inflation ruins those who had cash. It teaches you not to save. It stimulates speculation

– you can read in the added quote.

Sławomir Mentzen also wants to support cryptocurrencies

It is not known whether Janusz Korwin-Mikke will run in the presidential elections, but it is certain that Sławomir Mentzen, the leader of New Hope, will do so. The topic of digital assets appeared on his program:

Cryptocurrencies are opposed in Poland because the state is unable to control them. As a result, companies trying to operate in this modern industry had to close down or leave Poland. Therefore, as president, I will strive to free trade in cryptocurrencies, and I will also ensure that Poland has the most cryptocurrency-friendly law in the entire European Unionthanks to which we will become a European hub for companies in this industry. This will attract many modern companies to Poland and create well-paid jobs.

Mentzen also has over 33 BTC, which we know from his financial declaration.
