Politicians in Poland are becoming more and more interested in cryptocurrencies. This is hardly surprising: this is a large electorate. Now Grzegorz Braun’s party is to speak more broadly about cryptocurrencies.
The Confederation of the Polish Crown wants to defend bitcoin
Bitcoin! Stop central banks! Press conference and parliamentary group of the Confederation of the Crown of Poland
– we read in what appears to be an announcement of the press conference to be held on December 1.
The event will take place on December 1 (i.e. tomorrow Monday) at 11:00. The following speakers will be: MP Włodzimierz Skalik, Piotr Heszen, Karol Nagel, Krystian Timmler and Krzysztof Wronkowski.
After the conference, the party invites you to the parliamentary assembly at 12:00, during which there will be a lecture entitled: Stop central banks. PLN, gold or bitcoin – which of these assets is the future and opportunity for Poland?
The organizers encourage you to follow live streams on the party’s social media and join the chat discussion.
Grzegorz Braun has already commented on bitcoin
God bless Bitcoin. Thanks be to him for cryptocurrencies.
He then described central banking as a “huge fraud.”
But that was all it was back then. It is not known what ideas the Braun community has to strengthen Poland’s position on the blockchain and cryptocurrency market.

Fight for the electorate
According to a study conducted for Ari10, just over 18% of people in Poland, i.e. about 3 million Poles, invest in cryptocurrencies. That’s more than the number of brokerage accounts. Investors are most often young men with higher earnings who treat cryptocurrencies as a long-term investment.
These people are also voters. And hence the actions of individual parties – mainly Confederation, Confederation of the Polish Crown and PiS – to fight for their votes.
We are currently waiting for President Karol Nawrocki’s decision on the act. regarding the regulation of the cryptocurrency market. The industry is counting on its veto by the head of state.
