This is definitely a nice option for the first time if someone has not had contact with this world at all.

Crypto This is a full -length film on the border of the Thriller/Criminal species. Interestingly, there are certainly known to fans of cinema, such actors as Kurt Russell, Beau Knapp and Alexis Bledel. The plot focuses on the history of a young banker from Wall Street, which is involved in the fraud network and money laundering. Of course, cryptocurrencies are a key tool in the whole procedure.

Last year’s criminal document created for Netflix, Trust no one: The Hunt for the Crypto King (in English translation: Don’t trust anyone: hunting for the king of cryptocurrencies), talks about the mysterious death of Gerald Cotten. This man was the founder of the Canadian Quadrigacx cryptocurrency exchange. He died in 2018 in strange circumstances. After his death, it was revealed that investors’ money was irreversibly blocked on Quadrigacx, because only Cotten had access to cold wallets.
Cryptopia: Bitcoin, Blockchains, and the Future of the Internet (2020)
As the fifth, we present a document from which we receive a very detailed description of the genesis of Bitcoin, but also the entire cryptocurrency sector. The document conducts us all the way the evolution of this value and also stimulates reflection on the future of the Internet and finances.

This is a thriller from 2021, which tells about the fate of Ross Ulbricht, the famous creator of Silk Road, a Darkweb platform, where until spring 2013 you could buy … almost everything for BTC. At least what was illegal: mainly drugs that were prescription or drugs.
Ross Ulbricht ran the platform under the pseudonym “Dread Pirate Roberts”. He finally went to prison for many years. Although the court sentenced him to life imprisonment, at the beginning of 2024 Donald Trump pardoned him and allowed him to be released. Free Ross members opted for release. Maybe it is worth thinking about the sequel to describe the film described here?
