What is Bitcoin FilmFest?

Bitcoin FilmFest is a Bitcoin culture festival built around cinema. The axis is films, but also discussion panels, workshops, live music, art and a community scene.

This is not another stiff conference with lectures from morning to evening. It’s closer to a gathering of friends from all over the world who come to watch movies, talk about freedom and privacy, and then move these conversations to the afterparty in the evening. Last year, the festival attracted over several hundred guests from over 20 countries.

The Bitcoin FilmFest slogan is “Fix the Money. Fix the Culture.” It reflects the overall idea well: Bitcoin is not just an asset or a regulatory topic, but a starting point for a conversation about culture, freedom and independence.

What will you see at BFF’26? Day by day program

The program includes 21 films (18 in the cinema and 3 available on VOD), as well as panels, workshops and concerts. The screen will include “Finding Satoshi”, “Bitcoin: Digital Gold”, “Bitcoin Rising”, “Self Custody”, “Rabbit Hole” and “Bitcoin Motorcycle Diaries”.

This is how it breaks down into four days:

  • Thursday (4/06) — visiting the terrace of the Palace of Culture, and from 6:00 p.m. “Free the Money” beforeparty: barbecue, drinks, concerts and DJs in the very center of Warsaw.
  • Friday (5/06) — morning Bitcoin Run, AI Film Jam workshops, two film blocks with panels (“Is everyone an artist now?” and “Changing minds with fiction”), and in the evening a disco on the Vistula River.
  • Saturday (6/06) — yoga with Paco de la India, AI Film Jam hackathon, Lightning Piggy workshops, further screenings with discussions (“Bitcoin on the ground”, “Filming in the fiat world”) and the “Palace Bass Journey” party in the club near the Palace.
  • Sunday (7/06) — Bitcoin Walk, breakfast for entrepreneurs and the grand finale: BFF x MoneroKon gala with AI film competition, Roger9000 concert and Golden Rabbits awards ceremony. The farewell will take place at the Amondo cinema.

Trezor Model T included in the ticket price, i.e. a gadget more expensive than the entry ticket

Each paid ticket includes a Trezor Model T hardware wallet, which costs around 150 euros in the store. The ticket itself is 120 euros.

In other words, the gadget from the festival goodie bag is more expensive than the entry ticket. You can pick up the device on site or order shipping before leaving. This is a clear nod to self-custody: you leave the festival with a wallet where you can keep your own BTC.

One ticket, two events: BFF and MoneroKon

This year, Bitcoin FilmFest shares the date and location with MoneroKon, a technical conference on privacy, anonymity and finance. Both events take place in the same place – in Warsaw’s Kinoteka, and one ticket allows you to attend both.

The division is natural: Monero in the morning, Bitcoin in the afternoon, and the afterparty is shared. MoneroKon runs from June 5 to 7, so your BFF ticket gives you full access there too, at no extra cost.

“Future of Money” AI competition: 2.5 million satoshis to be won

New in 2026 is a competition of films created with the help of AI. The creators prepare short, from one to five minutes, etudes on the topic “Future of Money, Money of the Future”.

The winner is chosen by the audience during Sunday’s gala, and the prize is 2.5 million satoshi. For people who want to try it themselves, the festival has prepared AI Film Jam workshops and hackathon on Friday and Saturday.

How much does a ticket to Bitcoin FilmFest cost and how to get a 12% discount?

A basic ticket (General Admission) costs EUR 120 and gives access to all screenings, workshops and events, to VOD content after the festival and to festival merch. You will pay in bitcoin or Polish zloty.

Why is it worth going to Bitcoin FilmFest?

If Bitcoin is more than just a chart for you, this is the event for you. 4 days of films, talks, workshops and events in one of the most recognizable places in Poland, and a hardware wallet more expensive than a ticket and admission to the second conference in the package.

You can buy tickets at bitcoinfilmfest.com. Remember the code BITCOINPL — 12% discount available until the end of the sale. See you there!
