Arthur Leclerc was born on October 14, 2000 in Monaco. He started his racing career later than most drivers, debuting in single -seater races at the age of 17 in 2018 in the French Formula 4 championships, where he took fifth place, winning two wins. He was promoted quickly, taking third place in 2019 in the German ADAC Formula 4 championships with one victory. In 2020 he joined the Prema PowerTeam team, ending the season as the runner -up for Formula Regional European Championship, winning six races. A breakthrough year came in 2022, when he won the title of Formula Regional Asian Championship. In the same year he took sixth place in the FIA Formula 3 championship with the Prema Racing team. In 2023 he was promoted to FIA Formula 2 with the DAMS team, and in 2024 he won the Italian GT Endurance Championships.
