Cashify brings all cryptocurrency transactions online. The new model works under MiCA – Bitcoin.pl

Cashify changes the business model. From July 2026, all purchases and sales of cryptocurrencies under this brand are carried out online. WEB3 Technology BV, a company with CASP authorization in accordance with MiCA, is now responsible for legal services, technology and transaction processing.

Cashify has so far been associated primarily with a network of stationary cryptocurrency exchange offices. However, the brand does not disappear from the market. Instead, it moves the exchange of digital assets online and launches a new trading system available on the cashify.eu website.

The change is effective from July 2026. Each cryptocurrency purchase or sale transaction is to be carried out with the support of a dedicated Customer Service Representative.

The company’s announcement shows that Cashify focuses on individually operated online exchanges, instead of the typical exchange model based on an order book.

Cashify remains, but the cryptocurrency exchange service is provided by another company

The most important change concerns the entity that is formally responsible for providing cryptocurrency services.

Cashify is currently a trade name used by WEB3 Technology BV. This company is responsible for transaction processing, technology and legal issues. The company is authorized as a crypto-asset service provider, or CASP, by the Dutch regulator AFM. The authorization reference number is 41000022.

This is an important distinction. The client still uses the website and support operating under the Cashify brand, but the party responsible for providing the cryptocurrency service is WEB3 Technology BV

MiCA is changing the European cryptocurrency market

The change in Cashify’s business model is directly related to the implementation of the MiCA regulation. The new regulations introduce uniform rules for the provision of services related to cryptoassets in the European Union.

MiCA covers, among other things, requirements for supplier authorization, transparency, customer information, business organization and transaction supervision. The European authority ESMA also maintains a common register of authorized CASP providers.

For companies previously operating on the basis of national entries in registers, this means the need to obtain appropriate permission or cooperate with an entity authorized by MiCA.

Cashify chose the second option, entrusting transaction processing to WEB3 Technology BV

For us, the most important thing was to ensure the continuity of the brand and take care of our existing customers, which is why we made the decision to transform the current operating model and establish cooperation with WEB3 Technology BV. Thanks to this, our users can use services provided under the Cashify brand, which are already available online.

What does the change mean for Cashify customers?

The most important difference is the transfer of the entire cryptocurrency exchange process to the Internet. The customer no longer carries out a cryptocurrency transaction in the current model of a stationary currency exchange office.

The process takes place via the new website and the user receives support from a Customer Service Representative. The refreshed website and transaction system are now available at cashify.eu.

Cashify begins a new stage of activity

Moving to an online model allows Cashify to maintain its recognizable brand while transferring regulatory and technological responsibility for transactions to an authorized CASP provider.

This is one of the examples of changes that MiCA is currently forcing on the European cryptocurrency industry. Local brands can continue to serve their customers, but the services must be provided by entities operating in accordance with the new permit system.

However, having MiCA authorization does not eliminate the risk associated with cryptocurrencies themselves, resulting from, among others, from exchange rate changes.
