Mateusz Gamrot advertises Crypto.com thanks to the exchange’s cooperation with UFC

The Crypto.com cryptocurrency exchange is developing at an incredible pace. It is constantly introducing new tokens and functionalities to its offer and expanding its services to new countries. Additionally, some time ago it had another important reason to celebrate. It was the first cryptocurrency platform in the world to receive a special certificate SOC2 (Service Organization Control). This document certifies the credibility of the exchange and shows that the team treats security as a priority. We wrote more about this in a separate article.

Valuable partnerships and the trust of giants

The cryptocurrency industry has been facing numerous accusations for years about financing terrorism, creating financial pyramids, and various types of fraud. Crypto.com, as a key representative of the world of digital assets, is an example of a company operating in accordance with the law and inspiring trust – both among users and regulators.

The result of this was, among others, the establishment of cooperation with an American bank Silvergate. As a result of this cooperation, institutional clients of the bank can make transactions in US dollars in a simpler way. Those using the offer will also gain access to Silvergate Exchange Network (SEN). It is a payment platform that allows customers to send USD 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Another aspect of activities that strengthens Crypto.com’s position on the market is a number of partnerships with the sports industry. The exchange actively cooperates with, among others, the sports industry. It is a sponsor of a football club Paris Saint Germain (where Lionel Messi plays), a partner of the Italian football league Series ASouth American Club Championship Libertadores or a combat sports gala UFC.

With the representative of the latter – Mateusz “Gamer” Gamrot – they have just started cooperation. Gamer is a wrestler and martial artist, two-time European amateur MMA champion in 2012-2013 and international KSW lightweight champion in 2016-2020.

Crypto.com has previously partnered with the UFC, including as a publisher of their NFT collection. It featured profiles of fighters who took part in the biggest event of the year – UFC 269. This one took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on December 11. Its main fights were two championship fights: Oliveira vs. Poirier, for the lightweight title, and Nunes vs. Peña, for the women’s bantamweight title.

Two token airdrops were then prepared. First drop contained 3,000 NFTs of varying frequencies, including limited-edition items, posters, and a UFC 269-themed belt overlay. Second drop are exclusive NFTs of UFC belts with UFC 269 champion plates. Owners of this type of NFT had the opportunity to add them to a special UFC Collection Books user.

Crypto.com in the mainstream

Crypto.com’s ever-increasing mainstream presence increases the chances of cryptocurrency adoption. It’s an undeniable sign that digital assets are starting to make their way into the mass consciousness. Just by putting the exchange’s logo on the jerseys of popular sports teams and the roof of a club’s arena Los Angeles Lakersthe visibility of cryptocurrencies in society is growing. This is why bitcoin adoption is constantly progressing.
