Bitcoin, cinema and Trezor included in the ticket price. Bitcoin FilmFest 2026 on June 4-7 in Warsaw – Bitcoin.pl

  • Bitcoin FilmFest 2026 will take place on June 4–7 at Kinoteka in Warsaw.
  • The ticket costs EUR 120, is payable in BTC or PLN and also gives access to MoneroKon.
  • Each paid ticket includes a Trezor Model T, access to the BFF program, workshops, social events and VOD after the festival.

On June 4-7, Warsaw will become the most interesting place on the bitcoin map of Europe for a few days. Bitcoin FilmFest returns to the Kinoteka in the Palace of Culture and Science, a Bitcoin culture festival built around cinema, conversations, art, music, workshops and digital gold enthusiasts.

This will not be another stiff conference with panels from morning to evening. Bitcoin FilmFest has a completely different vibe. It’s more of a meeting of friends from all over the world who come to watch movies, talk about freedom, privacy, technology and the future of money, and in the evening move these conversations to the afterparty.

This year there is one more very specific argument: each paid ticket includes a Trezor Model T in the festival goodie bag. The hardware wallet itself is worth approximately 189 euros, and the ticket costs 120 euros. In other words: participation in this event brings only benefits.

Bitcoin already has its own cinema. And it’s not just about documents

The event’s slogan is: “Fix the Money. Fix the Culture.” And it well reflects how Bitcoin FilmFest differs from typical industry events. Here, Bitcoin is not just an investment asset, payment technology or regulatory topic. It is a starting point for a conversation about culture, freedom, responsibility, privacy, independence and the way we tell the world to ourselves.

The program will include documentaries, short fiction films, comedies, animations, AI productions and stories from various parts of the world. Some titles talk about Bitcoin directly. Others show it as an element of a larger story: about family, the financial system, escape from inflation, self-custody, local communities or an attempt to build a life outside the ready-made script.

This is what is most interesting about the Bitcoin Cinema concept. It’s not about explaining to the viewer what blockchain is for two hours. The idea is to show the people, emotions, conflicts and choices behind the technology.

Trezor Model T included in the ticket price. Goodie bag has real value!

In the events industry, a “goodie bag” often means a few stickers, a lanyard, a pen and a sponsor flyer. It’s different here. The organizers of Bitcoin FilmFest 2026 announce that each paid ticket includes a Trezor Model T, a hardware wallet for independent storage of cryptocurrencies.

This is a bull’s eye, because self-custody is not an addition to Bitcoin. It is one of its foundations. If someone keeps their funds exclusively on the stock exchange, they actually trust the intermediary. A hardware wallet gives you more control over your own funds and fits well into the educational dimension of the festival.

In practice, a ticket for 120 euros gives you not only entry to the four-day event, but also a physical tool for safer use of Bitcoin. For beginners, it may be a good excuse to finally learn self-custody surrounded by people who are willing to help each other. For more advanced people, this is simply a very sensible bonus.

One ticket, two events: Bitcoin FilmFest and MoneroKon

One of the biggest novelties of this year’s edition is co-location with MoneroKon. Both events will take place at the same place and time, and one ticket gives access to both programs.

Bitcoin FilmFest remains a Bitcoin event, but the tie-in with MoneroKon makes a lot of sense. Both communities are interested in privacy, open source, decentralization, financial freedom, and tools that do not require permission from intermediaries.

It simply means more value for the participant. In one space you can enter both the world of cinema and Bitcoin culture, as well as more technical discussions about financial privacy. This is a good option for people who do not want to choose between a “casual festival” and a substantive technology event.

AI, sats and new creators

Bitcoin FilmFest 2026 also opens up strongly to artificial intelligence. The program included the “Future of Money, Money of the Future” competition with a prize pool of 2.5 million satoshis. The videos will be between 1 and 5 minutes long and will be created using AI tools, and the winner will be chosen by the audience.

This is an interesting move, because AI is changing independent cinema very quickly. Until recently, creating a film required a large budget, equipment, crew and access to industry contacts. Today, more and more creators can experiment with image, animation, editing and narrative without large production facilities.

This is an opportunity for the Bitcoin world. If technology is to have its own culture, it needs people who can tell good stories. Not only analysts, traders and programmers, but also filmmakers, screenwriters, musicians, animators and visual creators.

What will you see?

The BFF 2026 program includes 16 titles, including 11 films shown at Kinoteka and productions later available on VOD. The titles include: “Self Custody”, “Bitcoin Castle”, “Crypto Castle”, “Hummingbird – The Bitcoin Jungle Story”, “Bitcoin Rising”, “Finding Home – Ep. 4” and “From El Salvador to Global Mission”.

Sounds niche? And that’s good. That’s the charm of this event. You don’t come here for another production from a large streaming platform. You come to see stories you probably wouldn’t find on your own. Stories from El Salvador, Costa Rica, South Africa, the Lightning community, Bitcoin creators, families, artists and people who try to live a little differently than the rest of the world.

After the festival, participants will receive VOD access via IndeeHub, so even if you don’t manage to see everything there, you will be able to catch up on part of the program later.

Why is it worth being there in person?

Because Bitcoin FilmFest is not just about movies. If it was just about viewings, streaming would be enough. The meaning of this event is elsewhere: in conversations after shows, in meetings over coffee, in discussions at after parties, in accidental acquaintances that can later turn into cooperation, a project or friendship.

The plan includes, among others: AI Film Jam workshops, Lightning Piggy, Community Stage, panels, concerts, social events, Bitcoin Run, Bitcoin Walk, yoga, afterparty on the Vistula River, meetings at the Studio Bar and the final Golden Rabbits gala.

This is a good event both for people who have been involved in Bitcoin for years and for those who just want to get a feel for what this community is all about. The organizers strongly emphasize the lack of classic VIP culture. There is no separate world for “more important” guests. There are creators, participants, partners, volunteers and people who want to be part of the same conversation.

Warsaw as a stage for Bitcoin culture

Place also matters. The cinema in the Palace of Culture and Science is a symbolic location. For a few days, a building associated with centralization and the old system becomes a space for one of the most decentralized cultures of modern times.

Bitcoin in the Palace of Culture. Cinema about freedom in a place that for decades has been a symbol of something completely different. It’s hard to find better scenography.

Who is Bitcoin FilmFest 2026 for?

  • For Bitcoiners who want to get out of Twitter and Telegram and into the real world.
  • For beginners who do not want to start their Bitcoin adventure with charts, exchanges and technical jargon.
  • For creators who are looking for inspiration, people and topics.
  • For entrepreneurs, investors and partners who want to better understand where the bitcoin culture is developing.
  • For fans of independent cinema, AI, privacy, financial freedom and good conversations after the screening.
  • And finally: for anyone who feels that Bitcoin is more than price.
